Today, two neighboring nations in Africa—Sudan and Uganda—contain two of the most critical humanitarian crises in the world.

John Edwards believes that as the most powerful nation in the world, we have a moral responsibility to take forceful action to put an end to the suffering in both nations. America can be a beacon for the world again—but we must show moral leadership.

John Edwards has outlined steps the United States can take with its NATO allies to help end the genocide in Darfur and to support the peace process in Uganda.
