Manchester, NH – Elizabeth Edwards returned to New Hampshire today to unveil the Graniteroots for John Edwards grassroots program and to meet with voters in Bow, Manchester and Mont Vernon. At the Graniteroots unveiling in Manchester, Mrs. Edwards dropped off school supplies gathered by supporters and volunteers at John Edwards' New Hampshire events.

"John and I had an incredible four days on the recent New Hampshire bus tour, and I was glad to return to the Granite State today to unveil Graniteroots for John Edwards," said Mrs. Edwards. "John is committed to running a grassroots campaign in New Hampshire, and the Graniteroots are where it all starts."

Graniteroots for John Edwards underscores the grassroots nature of John Edwards' campaign in New Hampshire. Throughout the state, the Edwards campaign is building community support as neighbors talk to neighbors not just about John Edwards' bold policies, but about the ways that we can take action in our communities to bring about real change in this country. The Graniteroots for John Edwards are organizing and hosting house meetings, knocking on doors, making phone calls and taking action in communities across New Hampshire to help build the one America that we all believe in.

On Thursday, Mrs. Edwards dropped off school supplies before joining a teachers' roundtable at the Beech Street Elementary School in Manchester. She also met with voters and answered questions at house parties in Bow and Mont Vernon.

Her return followed on the heels of the wildly successful 'Fighting for One America' bus tour that made 17 stops in New Hampshire over four days, culminating in a 1,000-person rally in Portsmouth.
