John Edwards To Embark On Two-Day 'Economic Fairness For The North Country' Barnstorm

Will Discuss New Policy Developments in Rural Recovery Act at the Carsey Institute at UNH

Manchester, NH – On Thursday, September 27th, and Friday, September 28th, Senator John Edwards will embark on a two-day 'Economic Fairness for the North Country' barnstorm to discuss his bold ideas to help middle class and working families get truly universal health care and quality education, and build an economy that works for them.

Edwards will kick off the tour by unveiling new policy developments in his Rural Recovery Act and participating in a roundtable discussion of the challenges facing rural and working families with director Cynthia Duncan and members of the Carsey Institute at UNH.

Throughout the tour, Edwards will be joined by Grammy Award-winning musician Ralph Stanley II, the IBMA award-winning Bluegrass Brothers, and former Democratic Congressman Ben Jones, who played "Cooter" on the Dukes of Hazzard.
